Discussing Your Application with Us . . .
When you contact one of the Project Consultants at ATS, there are certain aspects of your research project they'll want to discuss with you, including:
- The overall objective of your study, which would include the study species, its weight, and habitat and range description.
- The length and seasonality of your study.
- Various methods available for transmitter attachment.
- If you are deploying transmitters in water, the range of conductivity may be a factor (usually measured in micro siemens).
- For mammal collars, they'll discuss the neck circumference of the animal with you.
Whether you're new to the practice of radio telemetry or a seasoned pro, we're happy to help make your project a success. Call us at 763-444-9267.
